there is a risk in surrendering oneself to the true thoughts. we evade what we are not comfortable with or what appears to be the closest to the truest self. why? maybe humans aren't sure what they actualy are. perhaps they are scared of their true self. knowing oneself...ones all shades..maybe thats good for self, but not for the world.world needs an image. the image through which they will compare and contrast with every other image they have seen, even their own image. so there is a good in surrendering to ones true thoughts but perhaps eveade the thoughts when they start revealing self..image will be lost otherwise.

hi. happened to read this blog thru some common links. some points are striking. let me put forth a scenario and see how it works out.
thoughts come and go like waves. let us not evade any thought. also let us not welcome or follow any. in brief, just observe the thoughts come and go - without judging, without shame, without anger, without happiness etc.
instead of getting involved with the thoughts per se, observe 'to whom' the thoughts arise. intution tells us that there must be a changeless substratum from where these thoughts arise. some call it 'self', others 'god' etc. when one keeps observing all the thoughts come and go unconcernedly, the changeless 'self' has to shine forth. that is the pinnacle beyond which there is nothing to achieve
